Flows with high solids loading in plants and components such as fluidized beds, cyclones, hoppers etc. have high requirements to modeling and simulation.

Standard CFD software packages are not able to correctly predict the granular behavior of particle flows with regions of stationary bulks and flows with (partial) loadings near packing limit.For these special issues we use the engineering software package Barracuda®.
